Sharleen Nelson
Publisher/owner
Sharleen Nelson, a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication, recently retired from her position as University Communications Editor & Writer at the UO.
During her 30+ year career as a journalist she has interviewed numerous individuals from a wide range of backgrounds including academia, science, politics, and the arts, among others. She has edited more than 100 books and written hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles on a diverse range of topics in the fields of travel, entertainment, arts, education, science, and technology.
She served as an editor and writer on a variety of magazine staffs, including Spectroscopy, Video Store Magazine, The Maratime, and Oregon Quarterly, and is an award-winning photographer and accomplished graphic designer.
She is the author of The Time Tourists, The Yesterday Girl, The End of Time, and co-author of Dye. Run. Don’t Die.

Jeff (J.V.) Bolkan

Jeff is a native Oregonian raised in the Eugene-Springfield area. He’s been a professional writer and editor for nearly thirty years having worked on a number of magazines (both print and Internet-based) as an editor and a writer (more than 300 published magazine articles). He’s also been the book acquisitions editor for a medium-large (in excess of $1 million annual sales) academic press where he was involved in the publication of nearly 100 books. He is co-author of Dye. Run. Don't Die.

Current projects include family stories about midwestern immigrants that settled in Oregon during the 1930s, and one woman's story of her experiences living, teaching, dealing with culture shock and learning to love the native people in the villages of the Alaskan bush.
